This website as I wrote some days ago about DevTools Lighthouse report lacks somethings which cause low performance and SEO ratings in the report and with selecting a new color-primary for the blog and removing the default theme color from the manifest i also made some improvements in the site meta that for now is not improving the report results but may be it will in the future.
What I Learned Today
💻 Programming
- Page Manifest.json - Updated site's manifest.json file with theme color and added lang and description member in the manifest file.
- Updated Tap Targets Size. Among all the issues in the report generated by Lighthoue there was this Error on "Tap targets are sized appropriately" and it meant that your website's links and button that are meant to touch to perform some action must be bigger than size of 48px48px. everythin about it explained here in detail.
- Description Meta Tag - For now I only added Description Meta Tag for the Home page of the website but it is meant to be differnet for every page and contains a short description of the page's content. More explained here.
